The Heart Behind the Fight

The day Maya graduated high school was supposed to be the proudest moment of her young life. But as she looked into the crowd, her eyes immediately found her older sister, Nia. Nia was a beautiful, resilient Black woman who had always been Maya’s protector, her anchor, and her biggest inspiration.

Now, Nia was fighting breast cancer.

Seeing her sister battle the sickness shook Maya to her core. What hurt just as much was watching the world outside. Maya began to notice how carelessly people treated the topic of cancer relegating a devastating fight to a seasonal trend or a casual phrase, without truly understanding the daily weight survivors carry.

Maya knew she couldn’t just sit by. She wanted to make a real difference, to create something that couldn’t be ignored.

Driven by love and a desire to help end cancer once and for all, Maya channeled her grief into creativity. She designed a necklace to serve as a physical anchor for anyone walking through the storm.

This necklace isn't just an accessory it is a movement. Crafted with purposeful colors to honor different cancer survivors, it stands as a daily reminder to seek Christ, find peace, and carry unwavering strength. It is a symbol that you are not walking this path alone, and that even in the darkest fight, our light will never be dimmed.
